The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) is a national telephone survey of adults that collects data about health-related risk behaviors, chronic health conditions, and use of preventive services. The Youth Tobacco and Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) is an on-site survey of middle and high school students, focusing on tobacco-use prevalence and other health-related behaviors. The Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) collects population-based data on maternal attitudes and experiences before, during, and shortly after pregnancy.
